When enough thoughts accrete around an idea, the resulting pressure invariably ignites the fires of creation.
At least that's how it seems to be how it works for me. I think and dream about stuff, and if I find those thoughts interesting, I think some more about it, and eventually I have to actually go and do something, or go crazy.
The output of this process is usually highly random, excruciatingly unsophisticated, and sometimes doesn't work at all. It has lead to various little creative projects over the years, mostly involving code, none of which ever developed beyond the point to satisfy my curiosity.
Until one day, I had the idea to make a game. Not a specific game, just... a game. In space. Because that is kind of a general theme with my ideas. They always seem to be in space. In any case, the critical mass for that idea has been reached, and I'm currently developing something that I hope will one day become an actual game that can be released on an actual market place.
