- Fixed a couple crashes caused by some effects being applied to the wrong target type.
- Added player vitality stat.
- Added condition stats for spacecraft and EMU.
- Added status effects for various vitality and condition states.
- Added maintenance, repair and medical services for recovering spacecraft/EMU condition and vitality. These get progressively more costly the further things have deteriorated.
- Added a chance for passive vitality recovery when resting, depending on how much vitality the player still has left. Just a little vitality loss can be recovered easily, if you’re half-dead you won’t get better no matter how much you rest, you’ll need a hospital.
- Skipped checklists now carry a penalty.
- Skipping or failing a rendezvous burn now sets you back to the orbit synchronisation burn, as it always should have.
- Fixed a crash when loading a game where the “take time off” challenge was present.
- Skill challenges for which the outcome is certain do not roll the dice anymore.
- Added a push mechanic that lets the player reroll the dice pool under certain circumstances.
Old savegames not compatible
I’m kind of sorry for that, but it’s going to stay this way with major updates for the near future. As long as there’s no real progress to be made in the game, the effort of migrating savegames is not justifiable. I’ll introduce it when I consider that stage reached, or when people start complaining…
